On the 27th March we were due to exhibit at Venturefest South Festival of Innovation as one of this years Innovators, but we are disappointed to announce that the event has had to be cancelled due to the ongoing developments with Covid-19. We fully support their decision to cancel, and are really excited to exhibit our innovative approach to digital donation technology later on in the year.
Are you familiar with Venturefest? We were planning to write a blog this week about our attendance at the exhibition and what you could expect from not only our stand, but the many innovators across the south of England taking part.
Even though it’s now been postponed, we thought this would still be a great opportunity to share the details with you.
Who are Donater?
Venturefest South actually began at a time when other Venturefest networks were closing down – A time when funding was being cut across the UK. The founding members self-funded and developed a new sustainable model making sure that the innovators, entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups in the south region could be recognised and promoted.
Previous years have seen the festival come up against the ‘Beast from the East’ and ‘Brexit Day’ but thanks to the 500 delegates, innovators, exhibitors, and partners that still ventured out to showcase and celebrate the creativity and ambition of the south region they were successful events which helped to build a positive sense of economic momentum.

Our team were excited and keen to showcase our innovative donation technology – QR Codes, NFC Tags and social media smart-links – and show how these tools could revolutionise how local groups and charities could use online and digital methods to boost donations.
